Jessica Dawson, LSW
Jessica is a Licensed Social Worker who works with children, adolescents and adults. Jessica is committed to supporting clients in navigating mental health challenges, managing transitions, and achieving personal goals. In particular, Jessica is passionate about providing developmentally attuned, mental health support to parents and families. Jessica prioritizes a client-centered, strengths-based approach and is committed to creating a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship in which clients can explore their life experiences; identify goals; and seek the change they desire.
During her career, Jessica has held both professional and volunteer roles in the non-profit sector which have focused on supporting families and children. Jessica is trained in SPACE (Specialized Training for Parents Anxious Childhood Experiences) and the Neurosequential Network acknowledges that she has completed NMT Training Certification through the Phase I level. Jessica earned her Masters of Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago’s School of Social Work and has a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University.
Jessica enjoys reading literary fiction; long walks with her Black labs and spending time with her family.
